What does it take to Achieve Your Dreams?
How have the the countless millions of people, globally, succeeded in Achieving their Dreams, regardless the scope?
Napoleon Hill interviewed in depth over 500 of the most prominent people of his time and found that they all possessed 4 Major common traits. His writings shared these common traits and brought them to reality with Think and Grow Rich, published in 1937.
The common Personality Traits:
- Knowledge tells you what to do.
- Action is doing it.
- Persistence, motivation, drive and stick-to-it-ness is what Keeps You Going!
- Understanding allows you to adjust and adapt when things don’t work quite right the first time so you can keep getting things done.
We will concentrate on the First Trait in this blog post.
Gathering of Knowledge is primary when deciding to embark on a new Venture to fulfill your Dream, your definite major purpose. Before the advent of the Computer and Internet gathering that knowledge was mostly centered on Book Education and/or Practical Experience. Practical Experience has always been the the most productive.
But today we have the opportunity to accelerate the gathering of Book Knowledge Awareness with the Internet Search Engines such as Bing, Google, Yahoo and many others. Most information is FREE but as Napoleon Hill mentions in Chapter 5:
KNOWLEDGE will not attract money unless it is organized and intelligently directed
through practical PLANS OF ACTION to the DEFINITE END of accumulation of money. Chapter 5, Think and Grow Rich
Reading further in Think and Grow Rich, you find much emphasis on Imagination. The greatest entrepreneurs possess highly developed Imagination. A personality trait shared by everyone.
It is a God-Given trait, but must be exercised through the development of Positive Attitude.
So, to help us get back on our Success Path for 2009 make the DECISION Today to gather Knowledge.
- Study what worked so far this year.
- Improve your working knowledge of skills used to produce results.
- Adjust your Cash Flow Budget to Increase expenses on gathering Valuable TOOLS.
- FOCUS only on the one or Two Producing tasks.
- Mastermind with your peers.
- Use your Imagination to create some innovative presentations
- Develop the Backwards Goals setting as discussed in the following Video
